A special occasion, such as the anniversary of the blog (yesss, it’s been two extraordinary years already!) asks for a blogpost with a twist: no boring pictures of another outfit in the streets, in front of a colorful door, or anything else so basic you can imagine that we bloggers made a habit of of posing in. It has been two years since I started writing you, guys. Two sacred years. Let me take you to church!
I’m taking the opportunity to show you the last, dark Mìmo look. What place would create better contrast to it than a sunlit, hope radiating church? I guess it’s been clear to you over the past years that I don’t like ordinary things, and from now on that includes my outfit-shooting spot matches!
I chose to wear my black daim dress with fringes I bought at the Clouds of Fashion show. I remember not even taking the time to try it on and see if it was actually made for me, level of excitement 54646653! Luckily when I first put it on for this shooting, it felt like my second skin. It’s warm enough to wear when it’s a little colder outside with a leather perfecto and knee-high boots, yet it has that airy characteristic that makes it even more perfect for Summer weather with your favorite Stan Smiths. For church, I decided not to make Jesus mad and put on my classy peep toe sandals from & Other Stories. Matching the sexy lace on my Mìmo bag, or what the hell did you expect?
Words can’t describe how happy and lucky I am that I once had the opportunity (plus, the brilliant idea) to start up all of this. I have met so many interesting people, and since last year things with the blog just keep on booming. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than the fact that all of the work I put into this, eventually pays off. I started noticing through your kind and meaningful words that you guys actually really like the blog and keep on coming back. Oh God, you guys don’t know half as much the load of energy all of this gives me! Energy that I’m definitely going to use for new projects, original posts and the positivity and loyalty to your true self that I want to radiate with this little blog.
Because I’m grateful for every chance coming my way, whether it comes to the blog, my studies or life in general, I designed myself this Lucky O necklace via Paris Dot Com at Knokke Fashion Weekend. Okay busted, also because my dog is named Lucky. You can go and design your own personal jewelry at Must Have Donna Knokke, Crème Fraiche and several hairdressers in Knokke!
