OUTFIT | The Crochet Dress

Cover image of blog

Seeing these pictures again makes me long for Summer more than I ever could’ve imagined. It was in July 2016 that I hit the streets with Pauline from P.Elle Photographie and shot this amazing dress, somewhere between Brussels’ Central Station and historical city centre. Totally clueless I was about what the rest of that Summer would bring me, just like the rest of the year. It’s funny how one picture brings up so many memories, and how it makes you think about all the great (and less great) things that happened to you afterwards. It’s like looking at the purest, most innocent version of yourself, right before your big escapades and learning about life.

The reason why these photographs were still wandering around in my computer archives, simply is that by the time I had the time to share them, we were already close to Winter times. You’d say that now isn’t a better moment, since we reached May already but sunbeams are really late… Well, I’m hoping for the best. And that is, that I’ll still be able to enjoy warm days (make that rather study breaks) on a terrace before exams are there. In the meantime, I can only dream about wearing my crochet dress and snake printed heels again on never ending Summer nights. And ofcourse, I’ll make memories there. Make pictures. And look at them months after that, and I’ll think by myself how clueless I was back then.

Wishing you the best of luck with exams, I’ll be back when Summer made it’s entrance! Can’t wait to write posts again about my traveling this year. You can find me in Romania, Ibiza, Milan and Russia from July ’till September. What are your plans for Summer?
