BACK TO WORK/SCHOOL!

Hi girls!

School has started two weeks ago for me, and so far it has been a constant hurry to get all administration settled, to get all of my books (and life together, lol), to be present at the obligated birthday (or non-birthday) parties AND most courses… It’s the regular ‘beginning of the semester’-thing everybody goes through. And then, there is the work I do for The Sacred Closet. Sometimes it’s a real hustle to go from meeting to class, from class to event or shooting and to get some sleep somewhere in between haha. Although the combo of studying at uni and blogging takes a lot of time and organisation, I really enjoy what I do! Anyway, this year I wasn’t really motivated to start the new semester like I normally am. I went through a bit of a rough time since my grandfather died in September. The mourning kind of absorbed all of my energy and for some time I wasn’t in a really good mood and shape either, two conditions that I absolutely hate. You understand that these first post-vacation weeks were a true rollercoaster to me!

That’s why I wanted to share with you two of my own back to school/blogwork looks. Since sometimes I need to hurry because all of the reasons above, I make sure I’m wearing something that either works for my half a days in college as well as for meetings and events when it comes to representing my blog. I can switch sneakers for high heels in no time when I already have them in my bag! I adore wearing this first look with sneakers (photo above) at school, when for an event I’d rather wear these snake printed high heels with the outfit. Add the black clutch and I’m ready to go! Both ways are pretty but each shoe immediately gives that different touch. What do you guys prefer?

Since I have blue eyes I love to wear blue things to accentuate them more. Tops, dresses, jewelry, you name it! It’s a color I’m sure of that it suits me, so that makes the outfit picking much more easy! That makes that for this second look I opted for marine blue trousers and a light blue top, together with the blue stoned earrings and necklace my boyfriend brought me from Croatia. In the photos beneath I’m combining my blue look with a pair of black heels, but I might as well wear this with a pair of Stans. This way it just looks more feminine, and yep it works for both college and meetings! Oh and please take a moment to appreciate the bag: seriously how cute is it?!

I hope you guys like the pictures! I’m gonna take the rest of my Sunday off to relax at home before I go back to Leuven for another busy week.
