Dear visitor, welcome to The Sacred Closet. My name is Ornella Sacré, hence the name for my very own sacred space here on the Internet. I was born and raised in Brussels where, after some adventures abroad, I still reside to this day.
Professionally, I work as a Dermatology resident. What I love so much about my job, is that I’m able to devote myself every day to a mixture of complex pathology and aesthetics forming the path to healthy skin and soul, as well as to my love for mankind and the human psyche. I studied Medicine at the Catholic University of Leuven, and during these intense years of study this blog was a welcome creative outlet. I remember well how I used every spare moment to go out and create content, afterwards sharing every tiny bit with a wonderful audience.
Meanwhile, I'm 27 years old and I just love how I’m getting to know myself better with every day that passes. My friends and family describe me as a daring, entertaining and somewhat out of my mind go-getter. I feel the most energetic when interacting with people, when using my creative potential, when brainstorming on valuable content and when being a motivational, empowering speaker.

According to what I heard, writing a letter to your past self is even a common form of therapy. It makes space for self-reflection, acceptance, and healing with wisdom th...
The saying 'bloom where you have been planted' never really applied to me. As much as I am grateful for the initial ground where I got the chance to grow, there's nothing I love more than the rush of discovering unknown territory. If there's anything I learned during these first two years as a de...
In my daily practice, I receive questions on a daily basis about what kind of sunscreen won't cause break-outs in oily skin. More even, I figured it's a specific concern bothering not only patients suffering from acne, but also non-acne patients. Why is sunscreen so important, especially when you h...
